Michele Kidd works as the Director of Human Resources for Together Labs, Inc. She’s worked at Together Labs for 16 years. Michele was fortunate enough to start at Together Labs when it was a small startup of 23 people and has helped to grow the company to more than 175 employees. Michele has experience in all things HR – building a company culture, recruiting, hiring, onboarding, payroll, benefits, 401k administration, immigration, workers compensation, employee leaves, employee relations and reductions in force. Michele is also a Founding Member of Women in Tech for Gender Equality through Grapevine.
Prior to Together Labs, Michele spent 6 years at Albertsons stores in operations at their Northern California Division Office.
Michele was raised in the Bay Area and is married to her husband, Russ. Together, they have 8 children and 9 grandchildren. Michele enjoys traveling, bike riding, trying new restaurants and spending time with her family. Michele studied HR Management at California State East Bay and received her California HR Employment Law certification from the California State Council of the Society of Human Resource Management. Michele also received a Certificate of Completion from the University of Notre Dame for Women in Leadership.
Matt Kiolbassa started his career in public safety as a Paid Call Firefighter with the Orange County (California) Fire Department and has worked for fire service agencies in the Department of Defense, National Park Service, and in the private sector. Matt has served in every rank in the fire service from Firefighter to Fire Chief. After assisting in the transition of fire services delivery from the Presidio Fire Department to the San Francisco Fire Department, Matt was instrumental in developing and implementing the fire protection program for the Presidio Trust.
Matt is certified as a Fire Officer III and Fire Inspector II through the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress. Matt served as the fire & life safety code official on many of the notable construction projects at the Presidio including the Letterman Digital Arts Center, the Bay School of San Francisco, the Walt Disney Family Museum, and the Inn at the Presidio. He is also a California State certified Emergency Management Specialist.
Matt was appointed the Director of Emergency Services for the Presidio in 2018 and lead the newly formed Department of Emergency Services, overseeing the Fire Protection Program, Law Enforcement Services, Emergency Management, Physical Security, Environmental Protection, and Occupational Health and Safety.
Matt is a California native and spent his early life in Southern California. Matt is married to his wife Charla. They have two children and look forward to being grandparents someday. Matt enjoys traveling, camping with his family, good scotch and fine cigars.
Russell Kidd recently retired from the United States Park Police with over 22 years of service. Russ began his career in 1998 with the U.S. Park Police in Washington D.C. Russ transferred to the San Francisco Field Office of the United States Park Police in 2001. Russ worked as a Patrol Officer and a K-9 Officer handling an Explosive Detection Dog (Vannah) for over 6 years. Russ was promoted to sergeant and held the position of Administrative Sergeant. Some of the duties of the Administrative Sergeant included managing and supervising: Special Events, Physical Security, Shift Commander, and creating the Extended and Daily details for the Golden Gate National Recreational Area and the San Francisco Field Office.
Prior to the U.S. Park Police Russ served in the United States Marine Corps for over 8 years. Russ was promoted to sergeant while in the infantry. While serving in the infantry Russ completed two tours of Southeast-Southwest Asia (WESTPACS) and fought in the 1st Gulf War. Following the infantry Russ served at Presidential Retreat Camp David as Sergeant of the Guard and as the White House Non-Commissioned Officer at the White House for his last 2 plus years in the Marines.
Russ was raised in Pennsylvania and is married to his wife Michele. Together he and Michele have 8 children and four grandchildren. Russ enjoys riding motorcycles, smoking cigars, and camping with his family. Russ holds a Master in Business Administration from Golden Gate University and currently lives in the East Bay.
